More playin’ around

I’m playin’ around with the AI, but guess what, the AI is actually playing around with me! 🤔 It is secretly compiling a dossier on my twisted personality, ticking digital boxes on my wishes, desires, dreams, and flights of fancy which it will then compile into a comprehensive report that will be sent to the various psychiatric wards and proper governmental authorities around the country. It is sneaky and insidious, but hey, this the the Amerika of the 21st century in which the individual is sacrificed for the greater good of the community on the Altar of Truth.

But hey, enough of that! Let’s have some more fun with generative AI! 😁

INPUT: A group of Clockwork Orange droogs having cappuccino at Tiffany’s.

Wow! Amazing. It is off but in a good way! The people depicted aren’t really Anthony Burgess/Stanley Kubrik type droogs but they are super interesting. The woman on the right sort of looks like the singer Tiffany, which is great. And maybe the one on the left looks like Audrey Hepburn, who played “Holly Golightly” in the 1961 film adaptation of Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The man looks vaguely like either George Peppard, who played “Paul Varjak” from Tiffany’s, or actor and TV presenter Craig Charles (maybe from the beginning sequence of the Red Dwarf episode “Gunmen of the Apocalypse”). And the lady on his left looks so familiar, either a musician or an actress, but I still can’t place her! It’s driving me crazy!

INPUT: Ninja warriors storming the castle of the evil Shogun armed with shurikens made from post-it notes.

It’s great…another interesting experiment.

INPUT: Vincent Van Gogh painting “The Starry Night” in the middle of a starry night in the middle of a painting.

The AI became a Dutch master, recreating a Van Gogh masterpiece.

INPUT: A space iceberg with a domed five-star hotel on it in orbit around the planet Jupiter.

I like it; it is hard to tell what moon the berg is floating above, but it could be Europa either in the distant past or future.

INPUT: A lizard gangster in charge of Playboy bunnies juggling knives at the Playboy mansion grotto.

Different than what I was expecting, but good and novel.

INPUT: A yeti and a mountain goat being served a Japanese Tea Ceremony by a geisha on the top of Mount Everest with a beautiful sunset in the background.

Excellent but no yeti! 🤨 Either because the AI thinks that yetis don’t exist or it doesn’t know what one is!

Hamlet chatting with a visiting troupe of child actors at Elsinore Castle.

Fabulous! 🙂

INPUT: A train car filled with gamblers at poker tables with aquariums filled with sea horses hurtling through a night punctuated by green and orange laser beams.

I literally can’t get over having the ability to type in a convoluted description and have it be rendered into an amazing image by a benevolent (we hope) machine intelligence.

INPUT: Roller skating carhops bringing hamburgers and fries to white suited steelworkers at a steel mill.

Utterly fantastic! Sure the “steel mill” looks more like an oil refinery, but hey, why quibble when we’ve got access to this wonderful new technology that is literally going to put millions of people out of work. 🙁 Ain’t it the life?
