It’s a winter wonderland here in Massachusetts! The polar vortex has set up shop and we’re enjoying freezing cold and howling winds (and howling munedawgs).
Yours truly has actually ventured forth into this maelstrom of wintery delights and travelled to a remote outpost called Camp Collier, a boy scout camp and home to the Royal Rangers in Gardner Massachusetts. Also, for all you dark drama fans out there, an episode of the series Dexter had been filmed there.

When I arrived, the annual ice fishing festival was in full force. Which is good news for the humans 🙂 ; bad news for the fish! 😕

And yours truly just had to venture out onto the ice of Lake Wampanoag. I love doin’ stuff like that.

No swimming today 😐, which is a shame since I had just slipped into my bathing suit.

Cold and windy but beautiful! 😀

Nice fishin’ tents. I was surprised at the number of people out there.

As Jack London would say, the call of the wild! The Munedawg sez: awooooo!
